Translation as a daily process
Translation is a process in which the meaning of words is transferred from the source language to the target language. We find ourselves needing a translation whenever we encounter a language that is foreign to us. In our daily lives, we come acrosstranslations whenever we purchase technical devices, cosmetics and other products; the user instructions (or list of ingredients, components, etc.) are normallytranslated into the language of the country in which the product is being sold... It’s better to start thinking in English and listening to how other people use phrases and how they simplify thoughts they want to express (“simple is the best- sorry Tina Maze”).
Slovenes are very good at complicating matters -even grammar. So, let’s keep this thought in mind: “Every single moment, in every possible way, I make progress...”
